FIVE DYSFUNCTIONS OF A TEAM | TEAM PERFORMANCE PROGRAM
Based on the influential Leadership principles outlined in Patrick Lencioni's best-selling book, "The Five Dysfunctions of a Team," these workshops are designed to equip your Leadership Team with practical tools and methodologies, elevate team dynamics, foster a culture of trust, and drive commitment and accountability for unparalleled results.
5D WORKSHOP | This dynamic 1-day workshop is designed to help a leadership team move towards becoming a high-performing team, that provides practical information and strategies to guide the team to improve in one or more of five fundamental areas: trust, conflict, commitment, accountability, and results.
A typical agenda can include a discussion about the book, review of the 5D model, the team’s high-level results, difference between leader’s and direct reports’ perceptions, identified areas of team strength and weakness, alignment and difference, and practical activities that target specific aspects of teamwork. This dynamic training is meant for good teams who want to become high-performing ones.
5D COACHING CIRCLES | The 5D coaching circles help to embed the original 5D workshop learnings, to keep the concepts alive within the team. In this series of five one-hour discussions in a coaching circle format, leadership teams use techniques and activities from the original training to explore each of the concepts in detail, within the context of real-world experiences and current challenges.
IDEAL TEAM PLAYER WORKSHOP | This workshop focuses on individual team members and the 3 virtues that help us overcome some of the dysfunctions that derail teams. If teams see a 'stall' in their progress towards becoming a high-performing team, this training can help them re-energize and get unstuck by having team members go deeper into their individual development around the virtues that might be holding them back.
The ITP model and tools provide an opportunity for team members to be vulnerable with one another. By acknowledging their strengths and weaknesses, a team can develop greater levels of trust, which make conflict, commitment, accountability that much more likely.
BUILDING HIGH-PERFORMANCE TEAMS | TEAM PERFORMANCE PROGRAM
Being part of a successful, high-performing team can be a rewarding and motivating experience for both the Team and business. With a set common goals to achieve, high performing team members find themselves motivated, energized, and more creative. This program is designed to address common triggers, and provide invaluable tools that promote confidence and team effectiveness.
MANAGING STRESS IN A COMPLEX ENVIRONMENT | Designed for teams who are interested in finding out more about their own stress responses, how to manage them more effectively, and how to support each other during challenging times. The workshop helps participants identify their ‘stress indicators’: physical health, emotions, behaviors, and thoughts. Participants learn more about pressures and satisfactions; coping responses, assets & liabilities; inner world thoughts & feelings; and signals of distress, and explore how to manage their stress responses more effectively.
BODY OF EVIDENCE: NON-VERBAL COMMUNICATION | This popular one-hour workshop on interpreting body language and non-verbal communications is a fun and practical workshop that helps participants interpret signals from others and adapt their communications in order to enhance their own self-awareness, build trust, and make stronger connections with others.
EMPLOYEE SURVEY DEBRIEF & ACTION PLANNING | A forum for group discussion to align the team around employee survey results, and their interpretation of what factors are impacting their employee experience. Through conversations, the team determines which topics will become the team's collective objective(s), and what each individual can do differently to contribute to improving the team’s results.
TEAM EFFECTIVENESS | This interactive session explores what makes teams effective, by exploring some fundamental principles, including ideal mindsets and behaviors, trust-building, giving and receiving feedback, and team cohesion.
It is designed to support personal transformation, generate greater self-awareness, and strengthen participants’ ‘EQ’ (emotional intelligence), enabling employees to aspire to greater levels of trust and collaboration - key elements of a high-performing team culture. Offered in person or remotely.
TEAM OPERATING AGREEMENT | Teams can build commitment and accountability by creating a TOA together – also known as ground rules, team expectations, and standards of behavior. This team activity brings clarity about how to deal with one another going forward in a new team configuration, or when two teams merge. The session explores important team issues, and helps to clarify understanding, prioritize, and discuss standards for each priority. Sample topics for a Team Operating Agreement include methods of communicating with one another, when and how to escalate issues to leaders, providing feedback, timeliness of responses, and procedures for interacting with each other.
